Poster Finalist at L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Awards

For the past two decades, the L’Oréal Foundation and UNESCO have supported female researchers in their career progress in 115 countries.

I was honoured to be invited to join this year’s award ceremony of the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Initiative, held at the Royal Society in London on 24 May 2018, as one of 10 poster finalists out of 400 entries.

One of my personal highlights was meeting so many inspiring female scientists from all career levels, and Judy Reynolds and Holly Gurr from The Smith Institute, whom I worked with during my TakeAIM prize in 2016 (see page 20 and here).
